It’s amazing how easy and rewarding it is to make yourself a jam. Usually when I have to many fruits, I decide on preparing a jar of fresh sweetness like this one. And a mix of blueberries with wild cherries is particularly delicious, with a small hint of cheery taste, a perfect addition to breakfast or tea. I never knew wild cherries before, they are less sweet, though with a lovely aroma. But I must admit that it was a bit of Cinderella work to get these tiny seeds out !

1 cup of wild cherries
2 cups of blueberries
1 cup of sugar

Place your washed and gently crushed fruits in the pan, add sugar and heat on high heat for around 30 min. Let it cool and put in a jar. You can keep it in the fridge for up to two weeks. These proportions will give you one medium jar of jam.
